Position:

We’re currently embarking on an ambitious project to re-frame how Women see and experience the adidas brand. The digital landscape is a critically important pillar of this strategy, so this role will both define the digital experience that she will have with adidas, and produce campaign and content tools that inspire her to become a part of #mygirls. The successful candidate will deliver engaging digital experiences that are seamlessly integrated into the overall direction. They will oversee a team and the local markets to ensure the strategy and initiatives are flawlessly executed. The successful candidate needs to be a great collaborator with a passion for digital innovation and great consumer experiences and brands.

  • Contribute to Women overarching strategy and playbooks
  • Create effective digital strategy based on defined key objectives
  • Defining best in class digital initiatives that live within that strategy
  • Drive the interface with eComm, IT, Media, PR, CRM, Retail, etc.
  • Improve digital competence through the broader team
  • Design and oversee production of campaign and content tools across the full ecosystem
  • Ensure creative excellence through agency management
  • Drive stakeholder integration to ensure flawless execution and seamless connection plans
  • Manage allocated budget for optimal ROI
  • Liase with publishing team to schedule content publication
  • Utilizing internal resources (analytics and research) to deliver consumer insight which informs the global strategy and behavior of the brand in digital media
  • Lead and manage Digital Communications Manager and wider human resources within digital with clear goals, expectations, support and training
  • Lead and collaborate with local market digital team and oversee any localization

  • Deep-routed understanding of and ever changing digital landscape
  • An ability to turn goals into strategies and strategies into initiatives
  • Advanced experience in project management – including critical path management to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Experience with digital production process and technical nature of developing digital marketing initiatives
  • An ability to collaborate and manage platforms and tools used by multiple functions
  • Working knowledge of:
    Office software, Development languages (including but not limited to: HTML, DHTML, Flash, Javascript, XML, asp, java, CSS), Analytics systems, Standard CMS platforms; and Digital channels (social, owned properties and emerging technologies)
  • Demonstrated understanding experience delivering solutions or services via new and emerging web technologies
  • Experience partnering with and leading internal resources
  • An ability to articulate which elements of digital marketing are suitable for different campaigns and how they deliver results
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • University Degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Business or a related field
  • 8 years of relevant work experience in an international marketing environment
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing creative and technical teams
