Position:

Job Mission:

  • Contributes to the achievement of the Ready to Wear business goals at a Regional level by assisting RTW Merchandising Manager and by ensuring a proper product availability, in terms of quantity, quality and timing
  • Meets the stores requirements in terms of RTW products and contributes to facilitate the proper flow of product information through a strong collaboration with Store teams and Countries merchandising correspondents

Job Responsibilities:

Product Marketing

  • Participates to buying sessions organized by central marketing in Paris (four show rooms per year)
  • Proposes and prepares forecasts “open to buy” for Carry Over and Seasonal collections for both genders (4 times per year)
  • Analyzes and monitors Store offer & clusters according to Sales potential and Space monitoring
  • Analyzes and defines the category potential for new openings

Analysis

  • Evaluates the actual sales figures and the Sell Through by segment/line/market for every season/collection on a weekly and monthly base
  • Conducts studies (quantitative and qualitative) to explain local market performance & trends (client/product/price/seasonal trends)
  • Prepares analytic tools in occasion of market visits and business reviews
  • Summarizes and analyzes qualitative comments from store network
  • Prepares Pre buying Analysis before every buying session (4 times per year)

Contributes to optimise sales, commercial actions

  • Proposes communication tools (newsletter, presentations) to RTW Merchandising Manager and countries product correspondents in order to monitor sales performance from a quantitative and qualitative point of view · Encourages sales results of the stores through weekly performance reports, targets follow up and product focus communications
  • Implements local actions such as product transfer or push, rebalancing actions to optimize sales, according to RTW Merchandising Managers’ decision
  • Actively contributes to Events preparation (trunk shows, open day, in store special events, opening) in collaboration with the Supply Chain department, PR, CRM, local store staff and country Product Merchandisers
  • Interacts with other categories departments concerning transversal newsletter and events preparation

Training

  • Creates and maintains a regular and strong support to the Stores network, adopts and shares a positive, solution- maker attitude and communication towards teams
  • Contributes to define objectives and content of seasonal product training (twice per year), product animations and workshops
  • Cooperates in the organization of the event by following the back stage organization (casting, location set up and training tools management)
  • Assists Ready to Wear Merchandising Manager in animating RTW zone training sessions and contributes to support the re-training sessions in concerned stores and countries
  • Fine-tunes and enhances the efficiency of training tools
  • Reworks and customizes general training tools provided by central Marketing according the Zone specifities and needs
  • Has the responsibility of Kit organisation (events, inventories, shipping, transfers) and tools organisation (training books, mementos, modelarios)

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Marketing or Management
  • Excellent Power Point Skills
  • Excellent Excel Skills
  • Experience required: minimum 2+ years in a similar or related position (retail experience is a plus)
  • Languages: Excellent written & spoken English. Italian and French are a plus
