Reporting to the Commercial Director the Sales Area Manager will be responsible for managing distribution channel and developing customer contacts in his/her territory area(Middle Europe).The objective for the candidate in this position is to further enforce and build business and maximize profitable volume growth within the defined priority segments by actively managing the sales team. This includes implementing and/or developing the sales strategies, customer relationships, and specific programs in order to achieve business objectives.
The candidate represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales oriented activities. He/she designs, manages and executes tactical business plan to deliver business strategy. He/she proactively acts to understand customer needs and identify solutions. He/she leads the development, implementation of strategy for accounts and solves, high impact problems. He/she actively creates business opportunities and negotiates at high level.

Main duties

– Responsible for certain number of key accounts in his region;
– To develop sales activities to expand the customer base, increase sales as a consequence
– To be able to recognize and anticipate customer needs
– To collect and report information about the market to the market segmentation teams
– Controlling cost budget for the sales department;
– To draw up the annual company plan for the area;

The position will be based in Milan.
